This document covers the activities performed by teaching professionals and identifies a base set of competencies for positions such as course developers, teachers, lecturers, trainers, simulator instructors and assessors.

It aims to provide guidance for establishing a competence foundation, to be supplemented by e.g. operational/supplier manuals and specific details of equipment used for education and/or training.

Operational scope and detailed knowledge, understanding and performance expectations are defined in Sec.3.
