Governmental and flag state regulations, e.g. SOLAS or MODU code, may include requirements in excess of the provisions of this standard.
Guidance note:
Requirements to unit safety, helicopter safety, refuelling and hangar facilities are given in DNV-RU-SHIP Pt.6 Ch.5 Sec.5.
NMA Helicopter deck regulations as applicable on Norwegian shelf are provided in DNV-SI-0166 Ch.2 Sec.10.
