This Guidance applies to all Station staff, including Customer Service Assistants (CSAs), Customer Service Supervisors (CSSs) and Customer Service Managers (CSMs).
The response options are equally applicable should a Bladed Weapon incident commence within the station, or on board a train that arrives into a station.

Purpose
The following guidance has been based upon information developed by Government, British Transport Police (BTP) and the UK rail industry to assist London Underground employees in responding to a "Bladed Weapon" incident.
A "Bladed Weapon" incident is defined as an attack consisting of one or more people using items such as knives, axes or machetes, with the intention of causing mass casualties.
