Purpose.
This standard describes data requirements that a casting supplier and a heat treatment supplier shall provide to GM to simulate casting process and model residual stress to develop local material property data to support computer-aided engineering (CAE) structure and performance analyses. This standard may be cited in conjunction with other standards in Statements of Requirements (SOR) and other documents.
