Purpose of This Order. This order provides guidance for those facilities at which an automated radio communication verification indicator has not been implemented. Pending the implementation of an automated indicator, facilities must develop guidance for controllers regarding the use of a visual indication of the communication status of aircraft under their control. This order prescribes guidance for radio communications verification at ZAN ARTCC, ZSU CERAP, and ZUA CERAP.
