This Standard Practice establishes general requirements for valves and fittings for use in silicone-free service requiring an increased level of cleanliness. Specific requirements include: Cleaning, Assembly and Testing of Valves, Inspection and Acceptance, Packaging, and Marking. This Standard Practice is intended for applications such as painting systems which are sensitive to silicone contamination and for other services requiring an increased level of cleanliness above that of standard industrial valves.
