ASTM B855
Standard Test Method for Volumetric Flow Rate of Metal Powders Using the Arnold Meter and Hall Flowmeter Funnel
Organization: | ASTM |
Publication Date: | 15 November 2011 |
Status: | inactive |
Page Count: | 3 |
scope:
This test method covers a laboratory procedure for the quantitative determination of the flow rate of a specific volume of a free-flowing metal powder or lubricated powder mixture.
With the exceception of the values for mass, volume and density, for which the use of the gram and the cubic centimeter unit is long-standing industry practice, the values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parenthesis are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
