Purpose:
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5124.11; the April 10, 2019 Deputy Secretary of Defense Memorandum; and DoD Instruction (DoDI) 6055.05, this issuance implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides the procedures for developing and conducting occupational medical examinations for:
• Medical surveillance to determine the impact of health risks associated with specific jobs, processes, and exposures.
• Medical qualification determination for employment.
