This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method for testing the impact strength of rim of strengthened porcelain tableware. It does not apply to strengthened porcelain tableware having any other shape than circular when viewed from above, those with uneven rim height, or those having a rim shape which is not inclined outward when viewed from the side.
