This standard describes two methods for determining the rate of flow of metal powders. The methods are only suitable for those powders that will flow unaided through the specified Hall flowmeter funnel.

With the exception of density, for which g/cm3 is the industry standard, this standard uses inch-pound units. Values in SI units are shown in parentheses and result from conversion in accordance with IEEE/ASTM Standard SI 10. They may be approximate and are only for information.
