This document specifies requirements for the design, operation, safety, performance, acceptance tests and designation system of deep-sea hydraulic winch equipments (hereafter referred to as "winch equipments"). This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of deep-sea hydraulic winch equipments. The deep-sea hydraulic winch equipments are intended to be used underwater 3000m ~ 11000m for large load deep-sea operations.
