scope:

The rules in this document cover the atmosphere control of the naval submarines. This includes provision of oxygen, removal of carbon dioxide, hydrogen, carbon monoxide and other contaminants, preserve nitrogen balance, maintenance of temperature, humidity and pressure, calculation of air, monitor the internal atmosphere, continuously monitoring and recording of specific gases, recording and reporting the condition of the submarine's atmosphere, assessment of materials, infrastructure and providing emergency breathing air.
