This test standard covers a test method to determine the ability of a safety wire (lock wire) hole to retain safety wire (lock wire) when the safety wire (lock wire) is under load.
NOTE- Beware of the possibility of galvanic corrosion. Performance of the test post exposure may compromise the results due to galvanic corrosion.
