Part 2-2 defines check related elements and components that can be used to deliver images and associated check data for the purpose of creating IRDs that conform to the ANS X9.100-140 standard. This standard will also support creation of substitute checks in accordance with Regulation CC.

Refer to Part 1 for a general overview of the Bulk Data and Image Delivery Standard. Schemas representing specific bulk data and image delivery applications are contained in the various Part 2-n documents. Part 2-1 provides an XML schema for the delivery of general check data and images. Part 2-2 provides a schema for the delivery of data and images associated with the creation of IRDs and Part 2-3 provides a schema for the delivery of items associated with electronic deposits.

The schemas conform to the WWW Consortium 2001-05-20 XML Schemas Recommendation and define how data is structured for the identified uses.
