PURPOSE.
This Instruction provides Coast Guard (CG) Pharmacy Operations Policy, based on authorities provided in Reference (a), and in accordance with (IAW) guidance provided by References (b) through (u). It establishes policy to implement and standardize pharmacy operations throughout the CG while maintaining medication management best practices IAW applicable laws and regulations.
