This standard applies to all Protection and Control devices for traction distribution AC and DC systems.
This standard does not apply to SCADA devices, TPCMS devices and Network Rail Telecom assets, unless advise by the Regional Engineer (E&P) (refer to clause 5).
Purpose
The purpose of this standard is to state the minimum requirements and process to manage hardware and software configuration of electrical fault Protection and Control devices so that the electrical system is adequately protected.
