This standard applies to dip, washing and rinse tanks. These containers and tanks are used to wash small components and sub-assemblies to remove any residual cutting fluid or oils.

This standard is intended to evaluate only those hazards investigated and is not intended to determine suitability of the end use of a product.

This standard states Approval requirements for Dip, Washing and Rinse Tanks.

Approval criteria may include, but are not limited to, performance requirements, marking requirements, examination of manufacturing facility(ies) and audit of quality assurance procedures.
