scope:
This regulation applies to the collation and reporting of all maintenance work volumes and associated expenditure by all Zones / Regions.
Purpose
Units costs are required for:
• Measuring contractor performance and payment;
• Benchmarking contractors and Business Units;
• Monitoring and reviewing efficiency;
• Providing cost data for the Business Plan and Interim Review; and
• Supporting Decision Making through tools such as the decision support tools, i.e. SACP.
This procedure specifies the framework and breakdown of key activity types to be used for the identification and reporting of maintenance volumes and associated costs. It must be complied with in order to ensure a common approach and consistency across all Zones / Regions and contract areas.
