This Recommendation specifies a framework for locally enhanced name mapping and resolution (NMR) function for information-centric networking (ICN) in networks beyond International Mobile Telecommunications-2
• detailed requirements for deterministic latency and scalability;
• key functions of locally enhanced NMR;
• architectural framework of locally enhanced NMR.
NOTE - The global frameworks of NMR for ICN in networks beyond IMT-2020 lie outside the scope of this Recommendation.
