PURPOSE.
This Instruction provides Coast Guard policy for the Coast Guard Military Human Resource Record (CGMHRR) and Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) System. CGMHRR and OMPF is the permanent, historical, and official record of a member's military service. This policy applies to active duty and reserve officers and enlisted personnel.
