This guidance applies to all LU employees and contractors, but is particularly relevant to station staff, train operators, maintenance, engineering, technical and project personnel and those contractors who are most likely to encounter these potential incidents.

It also applies to staff who work within fault reporting and handling functions, Service Control rooms and London Underground Control Centre (LUCC) who might receive reports of such activity and will need to record and escalate the incident appropriately.

Purpose

This guidance document describes the actions that should be taken by personnel working on London Underground (LU) to reduce the risk of sabotage taking place on the network or to respond appropriately to a potential sabotage incident.
