Scope and Applicability.

This notice applies to Naval Medical Forces Atlantic and Naval Medical Forces Pacific

Purpose.

The purpose of this notice is to clarify the working relationship between Defense Health Agency (DHA), Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands (NAVMEDREADTRNCMD), Navy Medicine Readiness Training Units (NAVMEDREADTRNUNIT), and the use of memorandum of agreements (MOA), per reference (a). If DHA, NAVMEDREADTRNCMDs, or NAVMEDREADTRNUNITs determine that personnel transfers between the agencies resulted in the inability to perform a function and that function could be provided by the other agency, DHA, NAVMEDREADTRNCMDs, and NAVMEDREAD-TRNUNITs may enter into an MOA, per reference (a).
