scope:

PURPOSE.

As directed by DODI 5525.15 Law Enforcement (LE) Standards and Training in the DoD, Guideline 1, this AFJQS identifies the minimum training requirements to become a certified law enforcement officer and be awarded Special Experience Identifier (SEI) L3/3LE. This AFJQS must be utilized at all installations with law enforcement missions and serves as a roadmap to develop the Law Enforcement Master Training Plan (MTP) and Individual Training Plan (ITP). This AFJQS applies to military and civilian Airmen and Guardians assigned to perform duties as law enforcement Patrol, Trainers, and Program Managers/Planners and may be supplemented to capture unique requirements not common across the Total Force. This AFJQS will remain in effect until superseded or rescinded.
