scope:

This Standard, together with JIS T 7332, specifies requirements and test methods for eye refractometers using an objective measuring principle.

This Standard takes precedence over JIS T 7332, if differences exist.

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEC Guide 21-1.
