This standard applies to LU and LU suppliers providing and carrying out asset maintenance and servicing for Power assets within Substations and Transformer rooms on the LU power system.

This standard defines the minimum acceptable condition for power assets within Substations and Transformer rooms including, Domestic Installations, HV switchgear, Pilot Control Cables, D.C. Switchboards, LVAC. Switchboards, Distribution Boards, Liquid Filled Transformers, Dry Type Transformers, Rectifiers, Frequency Changers, Compressed Air Installations, Batteries and Battery Chargers, SCADA Equipment, and provides a reference to permit the inspecting of condition.

This standard is applicable to all relevant equipment which forms part of the System and is applicable throughout the service life of such equipment.

Purpose

The purpose of this LU standard is to apply the maintenance requirements for Power asset equipment and systems on the LU power system.
