Purpose:
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5105.53 and the January 11, 2021 Deputy Secretary of Defense Memorandum, this issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for the OSD Identification Badge Program, consistent with DoD Instruction (DoDI) 1348.33. The OSD Identification Badge is referred to in this issuance as the "OSD Badge."
