This part of IEC 60227 details the particular specification for light polyvinyl chloride sheathed cables of rated voltage of 300/500 V. Each cable shall comply with the appropriate requirements given in IEC 60227-1 and the particular requirements of this part. The tests for cables of IEC 60227 series are described in IEC 63294.
