Purpose
a. This instruction provides the minimum requirements for documentation and implementation of quality systems in Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) testing laboratories.
b. This revision provides additional requirements to the NAVSEA testing laboratories and additional guidance to the NAVSEA Laboratory Quality and Accreditation Office (LQAO) (SEA 04X6) for the review and approval process.
