scope:
This Standard specifies requirements for hot-rolled steels used for structural members of buildings (hereafter referred to as steel products).
NOTE The International Standards corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 630-1 : 2021 Structural steels - Part 1 : General technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled products
ISO 630-6 : 2014 Structural steels - Part 6 : Technical delivery conditions for seismic-improved structural steels for building (overall evaluation : MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standards and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
