scope:
This Standard specifies requirements for synchronous pulleys (hereafter referred to as pulleys) that engage with the curvilinear toothed synchronous belts (hereafter referred to as belts) specified in JIS B 1857-1. It does not apply to synchronous pulleys for automobiles.
NOTE The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 13050 : 2014 Synchronous belt drives - Metric pitch, curvilinear profile systems G, H, R and S, belts and pulleys (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
