pending
Organization: DS
Status: pending
Page Count: 18
ICS Code (Natural gas): 75.060
scope:

This document describes a Gas Chromatography Ion Mobility Spectroscopy (GC-IMS) method for the determination of the concentration of siloxanes in biomethane and biogas. The method is applicable to the siloxanes and working ranges provided in Table 1. Table 1 - Component working ranges Component Component abbreviation Lower limit (mg m-3) Upper limit (mg m-3) hexamethyldisiloxane L2 0.1 10.0 octamethyltrisiloxane L3 0.1 10.0 decamethyltetrasiloxane L4 0.1 10.0 dodecamethylpentasiloxane L5 0.1 10.0 hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane D3 0.1 10.0 octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane D4 0.1 10.0 octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane D5 0.1 10.0 dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane D6 0.3 10.0
