This standard details the requirements for the design, manufacture, delivery, offloading, installation, testing and commissioning of rail vehicle traverser and associated equipment at Network Rail owned Light Maintenance Depots and other maintenance facilities used for Network Rails own rail vehicle fleet.
Purpose
This standard defines the technical requirements for a rail vehicle traverser to be used for transporting rail vehicles between roads within maintenance depots.
