The contents of this document are for use by signalling personnel involved with the application design and management of points.
Purpose
This Company Level 2 document defines the signalling requirements for the application design and management of points used on Network Rail controlled infrastructure. It encompasses the signalling requirements of GI/RT7004 (Requirements for the Design, Operation and Maintenance of Points), which has been withdrawn by the RS&SB and the content of Technical Instruction TI 070 (Setup & Tolerances of Stretcher Bars).
The track requirements, previously contained in GI/RT7004 are now detailed in GC/RT5021 & NR/SP/TRK/001
