This document applies to anyone who wishes to adopt the DVNP protocol and develop their own DVNP interface. DVNP adopters shall follow this specification to facilitate inter-organisation sharing of video assets in a standardised way. The interface and specification are currently owned and managed by TfL with input from our partners.

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to define an interface to enable CCTV to be shared digitally between different organisations. DVNP aims to create an interface that can allow sharing at all levels of organisation - from two very large organisations sharing over dedicated IP links to much smaller organisations sharing over a standard Internet link.
