The contents of this Product Specification apply to all TI.21 audio frequency track circuits. The more general requirements can be found in RT/E/S/11752. Safety issues specific to TI.21 applications are included; general safety issues are contained in RT/E/S/11752 and other relevant Railtrack standards.
The information provided in this Specification applies under normal levels of traction current only. It does not apply to fault currents. Traction current conditions shall be as specified in RT/E/S/11752.
PURPOSE
This Product Specification gives details of best practice in respect of TI.21 audio frequency track circuits in order to achieve the requirements of RT/E/S/11752.
