General Tests
The following tests are recommended by the Next Generation Interconnection Interoperability Forum (NGIIF) to verify the compatibility of two networks during interconnection. These tests are intended to be used as a recommended set of minimum tests of levels two and three of the SS7 protocol.
It is assumed that the two interconnecting networks may have some additional tests they may wish to perform during interconnection. In that case, these tests should be part of the bilateral agreements developed for SS7 network interconnection.
