The Specification details the requirements for the retrofit installation of TPWS trackside equipment and associated signalling interface. This issue of the Specification applies to TPWS fitted at signals only. Later issues will cover installation requirements associated with Other Locations.

Purpose

This Specification has been prepared to define the detailed requirements for installation of the track sub-system equipment associated with the Train Protection and Warning System (TPWS).
