PURPOSE.

This Instruction provides policy guidance to establish, change, anddisestablish a Coast Guard recognition program. It also provides a listing of recognitionprograms currently in use and managed by various Coast Guard Headquarters entities andis for informational purposes only. The responsible program managers for each awardrecognition program maintain the current policy and eligibility requirements and are theofficial points of contact.
