This Specification applies to the control, operation and maintenance of all systems controlling the movements of, or communicating with, rail traffic.
PURPOSE
To ensure that the managerial responsibility for train control and communications systems is not divided in a way which increases risk, so as to satisfy the mandatory requirements of Railway Group Standard GK/RT0210, Asset Management for the Safety of Signalling and Operational Telecommunication Systems and Equipment.
