PURPOSE.

This Instruction promulgates the USCG SFSM as the authoritative policy for shore facilities requirements and authorized space allocation for all units within the USCG. Planning and design personnel will use this Instruction to determine authorized shore facility capabilities when altering existing or building new facilities for USCG units.
