The procedure applies to teams within the Maintenance function at Route and Delivery Unit levels which control:
a) tampers (plain line and S&C),
b) ballast regulators,
c) dynamic track stabilisers and
d) stone blowers (plain line and S&C)
This procedure DOES NOT apply on lines operating at EPS and maintained to absolute geometry requirements.
Purpose
This procedure defines the standard process, roles, and responsibilities for the control on site of On-Track Machine (OTM) operations in Maintenance worksites.
