This module applies to all involved in the planning and delivering Line Blockages, for example, Section Planners, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Section Managers (this list is not exhaustive). For the hierarchy of safe work packs, refer to NR/L2/OHS/019.

Purpose

Line Blockages are a recognised process to work safely with protection from trains for all aspects of inspection, survey and non-intrusive work activities using the Safe System of Work Process.

This module assists all work deliverers with planning and managing Line Blockages. It provides guidance using Access Registers in a safe, efficient and productive manner that aligns with Network Rail compliance and business requirements.
