scope:

This procedure applies to all Work Deliverers and covers the process of planning all work classified as Short Notice Change. It follows on from DU Processes for Planning and output from DU Section Planning Process. A "Short Notice Change" is any amendment that requires any of these actions after the respective lockdown:

 a) possession to be amended or cancelled after T-37;

 b) new possession to be agreed after T-37;

 c) worksites to be amended or cancelled after T-8; and

 d) new worksites to be agreed after T-8.

NOTE: Where possessions are mentioned throughout this module, this will include Protection Zones, Working in Traffic and Published Line Blockages. 

Purpose

This module provides guidance on controlling short notice changes to planned work on or near the railway infrastructure.
