This QPL has been prepared for use by or for the Government in the acquisition of products covered by the subject non-Government standard and inclusion of a product is not intended to and does not connote endorsement of the product by the Department of Defense. All products included herein have been qualified under the requirements for the products as specified in the latest effective issue of the applicable non- Government standard. This QPL is updated as necessary and is subject to change without notice. Inclusion of a product does not release or otherwise affect the obligation of the manufacturer to comply with the non-Government standard requirements.

THE QUALIFICATION ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST AND QUALIFICATION APPROVAL IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, CODE AB24400, MECHANICAL SYSTEMS BRANCH, 48110 SHAW ROAD, BLDG 2187, STE 3320, PATUXENT RIVER, MD 20670-1907).

THE PREPARING ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION LAKEHURST, CODE BL32000, SYSTEM STANDARDIZATION AND PHS&T BRANCH, NJ ROUTE 547, BLDG 120-3E, JOINT BASE MDL, NJ 08733-5100).

Provisions Government Procurement. Procurement of these bearings shall be in accordance with FAR 52.225-3 (Buy American Act) and DFAR 52.225-7012 (Preference for Domestic Specialty Metals). The contractor should include these provisions in every subcontract and purchase order.

When an item is required by the non-Government standard but not listed on the QPD, or suppliers are not in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Contracting Officer or his representative is required to contact the Naval Air Systems Command (Code 4.3.5.4), 48110 Shaw Road, Bldg 2187, Patuxent River, MD for guidance.
