This Recommendations applies to the electrical equipment of refrigerators, of compartments conservation of frozen food and of food freezers, for household use.
It deals with safety rules for the electrical equipment of such appliances, but does not cover features of construction and operation which are dealt with by ISO Recommendation R824,
Note. - This Recommendation does not contain requirements relating to safety other other than electrical safety (such as mechanical, safety due to pressure, etc.), which are covered by the mentioned ISO Recommendation.
