This standard specifies the audio compression, decompression and packaging tools and mechanism to support the transmission and store of the multimedia data over the Internet in a highly efficient way. It can realize more efficient lossless compression than ALS m21 (BGMC1024) and the decoding speed is faster than EH-APE, and coding tool can be selected by taking into account compression efficiency and complexity.
