Purpose.
This instruction provides guidance to develop, maintain and manage readiness training. It codifies a Ready Airman Training Council (RATC) to ensure cross-functional advocacy and oversight of training requirements and resources by key stakeholders. It outlines roles and responsibilities for comprehensive skill training and provides a process to ensure ART in-residence course requirements are formally linked to the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution cycle.
