QUALIFIED PRODUCT LIST OF PRODUCTS QUALIFIED UNDER PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION MIL-PRF-8184 Plastic Sheet, Acrylic, Modified
This QPL has been prepared for use by or for the Government in the acquisition of products covered by the subject specification, and inclusion of a product is not intended to and does not connote endorsement of the product by the Department of Defense. All products included herein have been qualified under the requirements for the product as specified in the latest effective issue of the applicable specification. This QPL is updated as necessary and is subject to change without notice. Inclusion of a product does not release or otherwise affect the obligation of the manufacturer to comply with the specification requirements.
THE QUALIFICATION ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST AND QUALIFICATION APPROVAL IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (COMMANDER, NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, CODE AB23400, BLDG 2188, 48066 SHAW ROAD, PATUXENT RIVER, MD 20670-5304).
THE PREPARING ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (ATTENTION: COMMANDING OFFICER, NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION LAKEHURST, CODE BL32600, SYSTEM STANDARDIZATION AND PHS&T BRANCH, B120-3, ROUTE 547, JOINT BASE MDL, NJ 08733-5100). Description of types and classes in MIL-PRF-8184E, dated 1 February 1989:
Type I - May be used "as cast" or in stretching operations.
Type II - May only be used "as cast". These sheets do no possess properties required for stretching.
Class 1 - These sheets possess the standard moisture resistance properties found in previous issues of MIL-PRF-8184.
Class 2 - These sheets possess improved moisture resistance properties.
Class 2 sheets are automatically qualified as Class 1.
