This Guidance Note applies to Network Rail Corporate Offices and those areas of offices occupied by Network Rail staff within premises managed by others. It also applies to contractors appointed by Network Rail to work within Corporate Offices and sets the minimum standards applicable to tenants of Corporate Offices.

Purpose

This Guidance Note provides guidance to all staff with responsibility for the management of fire safety within Corporate Offices. The document sets out guidance for the implementation of the fire safety deliverables contained within The Company Fire Safety Handbook NR/CS/FIR/100, which should be read in conjunction with this Guidance Note.
