The program undertaken by the MAB TG combined common installation practices shared by multiple manufacturers into a single format. The goal is to provide clear direction and common procedures for proper pipe preparation, fitting-to-pipe assembly, and installation of electrofusion fittings 14 inch to 30 inch diameters; refer to the manufacturer for larger sizes. An additional goal is to provide clear inspection criteria for installer qualification, installation acceptance by inspection, and answers to frequently asked questions. This document replaces PPI TN-34.
